Soles for Souls Christmas Shoe project!

LIFE’s Christmas Shoe Project is about more than a fight for survival; they want to show children that life is also about finding joy. That’s why they say, “Christmas joy comes in pairs!” Sharing the gift of new shoes with a child who has never had a new pair – or has maybe never even worn shoes – is a moment of pure joy.

Some of the children who will receive shoes this year live near garbage dumps, where they scavenge for food and items to sell. They walk over trash and broken glass, risking cuts, infection and disease. Others must navigate dangerous terrain in search for water sources or cross hot, burning sands in desert regions – all without the protection of shoes.
For poverty-stricken children in underdeveloped nations, a small cut on the bottom of a foot can be devastating, as it creates a gateway for infection or disease to enter their small bodies. Some are crippled for life because of injuries to their feet as children.

That’s why shoes are so important! LIFE distributes a low-cost, comfortable, durable, all-terrain shoe that comes in all sizes for children of different ages. In this, the 12th year of LIFE’s Christmas Shoe Project, the cost to manufacture and deliver each pair of shoes remains at just $3.60. With an overall project goal of 150,000 pairs, an additional $540,000 above LIFE’s other ministry and mission commitments is needed.
Thank God that such a simple idea – sturdy, durable shoes – has had such a big impact on the health of children around the world. This year as they distribute 150,000 more pairs of shoes, they are thankful for our help in spreading the good news of Jesus’ love presented as new shoes!

This is why we want to help! So for each pair of TTT&T shoes sold a portion of the proceeds will go to LIFE’s Outreach International Christmas Shoe Project.

Our new plaid scripture wear mid top shoes are in! Just in time for the Christmas holiday! Get yours today and you’ll be helping a poverty-stricken child in a underdeveloped nation to get a new pair of shoes.
